Privacy Policy

1. What Kilawari is

Kilawari is a Morocco-only professional directory and opportunity board for people and businesses working in tourism. It provides listing and direct-contact infrastructure. It is not a traveler marketplace, recruitment agency, payment service or messaging platform.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, authentication records and legal-acceptance metadata. Your account password is handled by Supabase Auth and is not stored as plaintext in the Kilawari application database.
• Professional profile information you choose to publish, including display name, professional type, Base City, languages, work type, description and selected public contact detail.
• Opportunity information you choose to publish, including organization or professional name, professional needed, City, work type, description, optional opportunity details and selected public contact detail.
• Basic operational information needed to run and protect the service, such as listing dates and status, contact-click counts, language preference, session cookies and limited technical/security logs.

3. Public and private information

Your account email is private and is used for signing in, verification and password recovery. It does not automatically become your public listing contact.

A listing contact is public only because you explicitly choose WhatsApp, telephone or email for that listing. Public listings can be viewed by anyone who can access Kilawari.

4. How we use information

• Create, authenticate and secure your account.
• Publish and manage the professional profile and opportunities you choose to create.
• Let other tourism professionals contact listing owners directly.
• Operate listing expiry, renewal, pause, close and deletion controls.
• Protect Kilawari against abuse and investigate moderation or security problems.

5. Service providers and processing location

Kilawari uses service providers including Supabase for authentication/database infrastructure and Vercel for hosting and delivery. Information may therefore be processed or hosted outside Morocco. These providers process information as part of supplying the infrastructure Kilawari uses.

Kilawari V1 does not use advertising trackers and does not sell user data.

6. Retention and expiry

A professional profile is publicly active for 90 days from its latest confirmation unless it is paused, hidden or deleted earlier. An opportunity is publicly active for 14 days unless it is closed, hidden or deleted earlier. Eligible expired listings may be renewed during the approved 30-day grace period.

Expired or closed listings stop appearing publicly. Kilawari may retain the listing privately during the grace period so the owner can renew it, after which it can be purged. Security and infrastructure logs may follow shorter or longer technical retention periods set by the relevant provider.

7. Your controls and account deletion

You can edit or delete your own listings from your account. You can delete your Kilawari account at any time from the account danger zone after confirming your current password and the permanent deletion warning.

Deleting the account deletes the Kilawari account, its professional profile, owned opportunities and associated Kilawari-owned listing data, then signs the user out. The deletion cannot be undone. Data that a third party independently copied from a public listing before deletion is outside Kilawari's control.

8. Cookies and changes to this policy

Kilawari uses essential cookies for authenticated sessions and to remember the selected interface language. These are functional, not advertising cookies.

If the product changes in a way that materially changes how personal information is handled, this policy and its version will be updated. New account or listing acceptances use the version shown on the current policy.
