Confirm the programme

• Keep your tour operator's name and contact number available.
• Check the programme agreed with the travelers, today's stage and tomorrow's route.
• Follow the agreed programme. Speak to the operator before changing it.

Confirm where you will sleep

• Check the town, accommodation name and contact number for your own overnight stay.
• Confirm your reservation, arrival arrangements and parking.

Contact the people you need tomorrow

• Contact the local guide, activity provider or camp you will meet.
• Keep their phone numbers available and confirm the date and time.
• Resolve any unanswered questions before the next day.

Arrange the hotel or riad arrival

• Confirm the travelers' hotel or riad and whether your vehicle can reach the entrance.
• Confirm the exact parking location or assigned meeting point if you cannot reach the entrance.
• Share your expected arrival time with the property and call about 30 minutes before arrival.
• Arrange a porter or bagagiste if the travelers need help with luggage.

Plan the timing

• Confirm any activity or check-in deadline with the person responsible, and note when they confirmed it.
• Allow time for the travelers to get ready, lunch, breaks and necessary stops.
• Check road conditions, including snow or winter conditions where relevant.
• Tell the operator about important problems that affect the day.

Prepare for the morning

• Agree the meeting time with the travelers and keep written confirmation.
• Aim to be ready about 10 minutes before that time.
• Remove empty water bottles and rubbish from the vehicle.
• Check the windows and passenger area are clean.
• Review the manifest information.
